Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Tasting Room Associate / Server to deliver a welcoming guest experience. This role is responsible for guiding guests through curated wine tastings, building relationships, and driving wine sales and club memberships with a polished, professional approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, structured wine tastings with confidence and product knowledge

  • Provide elevated, attentive table service in a fast-paced tasting room environment

  • Educate guests on wines, winemaking, and the Nectar of The Dogs Wine story

  • Drive retail sales, wine club memberships, and event interest

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the tasting room

  • Execute opening, closing, and side work duties

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during high-volume periods

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a tasting room, restaurant, or hospitality setting required

  • Strong wine knowledge required

  • Proven ability to upsell and provide exceptional guest experiences

  • Professional, polished appearance and communication style

  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and RBS certified

Bartender

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Bartender with a strong hospitality presence and a passion for wine. This role blends elevated wine service with guest engagement, focusing on thoughtful recommendations and creating a memorable tasting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present, pour, and serve wine with consistency, precision, and attention to detail

  • Support the tasting room team during high-volume service while maintaining an elevated guest experience

  • Guide guests through wine selections, offering thoughtful recommendations based on preferences

  • Educate guests on wine profiles, winemaking, and the NOTDW story in an engaging, approachable manner

  • Prepare and serve wine-based cocktails and featured beverages as needed

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually polished bar and service area

  • Maintain bar inventory, glassware, and daily setup/breakdown

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently

  • Ensure compliance with all ABC and responsible service standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years bartending (wine bar or restaurant) experience required

  • Strong knowledge of wine and beverage service

  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional, polished demeanor with excellent communication skills

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and RBS certified

Host / Hostess

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Host / Hostess to serve as the first impression of our tasting room. This role is essential in setting the tone for each guest’s visit. Welcoming, organizing, and ensuring a seamless flow of service with warmth and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests promptly with a warm, polished, and friendly demeanor

  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating flow efficiently

  • Provide guests with an overview of tasting options and experiences

  • Communicate clearly with servers and management regarding guest flow and timing

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance and host stand

  • Assist with light service support as needed during peak hours

  • Uphold brand standards and create a welcoming, inclusive environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a host, hospitality, or customer-facing role required

  • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

  • Ability to multitask and manage high-volume guest flow

  • Experience with reservation systems preferred

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and RBS certified
